Security Ownership
Exchange Alpha is built and operated by Zachary Green, founder of Exchange Alpha. Zachary Green is the person accountable for security across the platform, including the website at www.exchangealpha.com, the iOS application, the data API, and the servers that run the platform.
Security Practices
- Encrypted transport (TLS) across clients, servers, and the database
- Authentication on account and login routes, with per-user session tokens
- Secrets and API credentials held server-side, kept out of client-delivered code
- Regular review of the codebase for common web vulnerabilities
- Rate limiting and denial-of-service protection on public endpoints
